KS1 SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: B45 Rubery, BirminghamWeekly Pay: 500- 525Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pmStart Date: ASAPContract: Long-TermLong Term Futures are seeking a caring and experienced KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school near Rubery.This is a full-time role supporting pupils with special educational needs across KS1, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide targeted 1:1, small-group and classroom support.The successful candidate will be confident adapting learning to meet individual needs and supporting pupils with their communication, emotional regulation, social development and engagement with learning. A calm, consistent and nurturing approach will be particularly important.ResponsibilitiesProvide targeted SEN support across KS1Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventionsSupport pupils with additional learning, communication and emotional needsAdapt classroom activities to meet individual pupil needsUse clear routines and consistent strategies to support engagementSupport pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviourEncourage communication, social interaction and independenceHelp pupils develop confidence and resilience within the classroomMonitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staffWork closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider support teamHelp maintain a safe, calm and inclusive learning environmentWhat the School is Looking ForPrevious experience supporting ..... full job details .....
