Supply Desk are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded Chatham-based primary school, seeking a resilient and enthusiastic teacher for a full-time maternity cover position starting September 2025, continuing until at least April 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or an experienced educator looking to make a real impact in a supportive and inclusive school environment.

About the Role:

• Full-time maternity cover teaching position within a primary setting (year group flexibility is a bonus).
• Start date: September 2025, with the role continuing until April 2026 (possibility of further extension).
• You will be responsible for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Youandrsquo;ll play a key role in contributing to the school community, attending meetings, and collaborating with colleagues to support pupilsandrsquo; academic and personal development.

What Weandrsquo;re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Confidence and flexibility to teach across different primary year groups, if required.
• A resilient, reliable, and hardworking approach with strong classroom management skills.
• An inclusive and engaging teaching style that fosters positive relationships with pupils.
• Someone based in Medway or able to easily commute to Chatham.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
