KS1 + KS2 Teacher - SEN Canterbury, Kent - SEMH / ASC 170 - 260 per day Acadmics are working with a specialist SEN school in Canterbury who are seeking a passionate and committed KS1 and KS2 Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team.This role is ideal for a teacher who is driven by impact rather than data, and who is confident adapting teaching to meet the individual needs of pupils with SEN.The RoleAs a SEN Teacher, you will:Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across KS1 and KS2Support pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, SEMH and additional learning needsCreate a safe, structured and nurturing classroom environmentWork closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and SEN professionalsUse creative approaches to promote academic progress, emotional regulation and independenceImplement EHCP targets and personalised learning strategiesThe Ideal CandidateHold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)Have experience teaching SEN and/or primary-aged pupilsAre calm, patient and resilient, with strong behaviour-management skillsAre adaptable and confident teaching across mixed abilitiesHave a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needsAre open to training and continuous professional development ..... full job details .....
