You will build phonics, reading fluency and common-exception-word recall. You will strengthen early writing through sentence modelling and guided practice. You will secure number fluency with daily rehearsal of place value and simple problem solving, using concrete and pictorial representations where needed. You will pre-teach key vocabulary and routines before new units begin. You will check understanding with quick diagnostics and fix misconceptions early so pupils return to lessons ready to engage. You will keep concise notes after each session, update simple trackers and agree next steps with the class teacher. You will uphold clear routines, follow safeguarding procedures and support calm transitions.The Candidate and Requirements:You are a clear communicator who stays organised in busy classrooms and explains ideas in small steps. You notice gaps early, keep sessions purposeful and build independence without over-prompting.
