KS1 Class Teacher

Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a fantastic and supportive primary school in Hodge Hill. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026.

This welcoming school prides itself on creating a positive learning environment where both staff and pupils are encouraged to thrive. The leadership team is highly supportive, making this an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers ECTs looking to begin or continue their teaching journey in a nurturing setting.

The Role:
- Full-time KS1 Teacher position
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
- Encouraging pupils to reach their full potential academically and socially
- The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching within KS1 (placements accepted for ECTs)
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Have excellent classroom management skills
- Be enthusiastic, creative, and committed to pupil development
- Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills
- Be eager to contribute to the wider school community

Requirements to Work with Prospero Teaching:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold a valid, enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to obtain one)
- Provide two child-related professional references covering the last two years
