KS1 & KS2 Teacher

Position: Primary Teacher (KS1 & KS2)
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Start Date: September 2026
Contract Type: Long-term (September 2026 – July 2027, with potential for a permanent role)
Pay: £160 – £250 per day (depending on experience)

We are currently seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southampton. This position will start in September 2026 and run until July 2027, teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

The role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons that support pupils’ academic progress and personal development across the primary curriculum. You will work closely with other teachers and support staff to create a positive classroom environment where children feel encouraged to learn and grow. Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers as well as Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

This friendly and supportive primary school caters for pupils aged 5–11 and is known for its inclusive and nurturing approach to education. Staff work collaboratively to ensure pupils are supported both academically and socially. The school provides a positive working environment, with strong leadership and a commitment to professional development.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

• Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.

• Knowledge of the KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.
