Kong API Engineer (urgent start)

Kong API Engineer Location: London - 5 days per week onsiteContract: 6 monthsRate: £425 per dayIR35: Inside IR35 We are looking for an experienced Kong API Engineer to join a major banking environment in London. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on API management, API security and cloud-native technologies. Banking or financial services experience is essential. Key Skills andamp; Experience Required Strong programming experience in Golang and/or Lua Hands-on experience with API Management platforms, ideally Kong API Gateway Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and the OpenAPI Specification (OAS) Hands-on API security experience, including: OAuth 2.0 OpenID Connect (OIDC) JWT validation Key Authentication Mutual TLS (mTLS) Strong cloud-native engineering experience Experience across CI/CD, Kubernetes and Terraform Desirable Skills AWS experience, including ECS, EKS and MSK Deep hands-on experience with Kong API Gateway Strong Golang and/or Lua development skills This is an excellent opportunity for a strong API Engineer to work on a major banking programme in a highly technical, hands-on environment.
