Kitting Operative / Warehouse Associate

IRS Recruitment is actively resourcing for a Kitting Operative / Warehouse Associate to join a major project in Wallsend, Tyne & Wear area. These are long-term assignments with excellent opportunities to develop your skills in a dynamic assembly environment. Immediate starts available.

PAYE Dayshift Pay Rates

- £14.50 per hour - For the first 38 hours worked and approved
- £18.85 per hour - For hours worked in excess of 38 hours and approved
- £21.75 per hour - For Saturday hours worked and approved
- £29.00 per hour - For Sunday and Bank Holiday hours worked and approved

Working Days / Hours:

Weekday Dayshift: Monday to Friday

Hours: 42 hours per week

Overtime: Additional hours may be available

Duties and Responsibilities

- Pick and assemble parts into ready-to-ship kits with speed and accuracy
- Track stock levels and report shortages to keep production flowing smoothly
- Check kits for quality and completeness before packaging
- Prepare and label finished kits for shipment
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (training provided)
- Keep your workstation tidy, safe, and organised

What We're Looking For

- A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow clear instructions
- Good manual dexterity and stamina (standing, lifting, and moving stock)
- Basic maths skills for counting and tracking inventory
- A team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or changing priorities
- Logistics experience
- Forklift experience is helpful but not essential
