You''ll be working part time 22 hours a week (hours will be discussed at interview) at Tupwood Gate Nursing Home.Tupwood Gate is a Nursing Home located in the quiet residential town of Caterham in Surrey, providing outcome-focused care for adults who may be physically frail, with a diagnosis of dementia or Alzheimer''s disease. Tupwood Gate provides short stay or longer-term care, offering award-winning end of life care. Your Day-to-Day • Assist the team in the providing balanced, appetising meals• Perform basic food preparation, cooking tasks and other kitchen duties• Wash utensils, dishes and make sure they are stored appropriately• Sort, store and distribute ingredients, check deliveries and assist with stock ordering• Maintain personal hygiene and ensure the kitchen is clean and hygienic• Handle, maintain and store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures• Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations.You are • Passionate about catering, preferably with experience within a care setting• Enthusiastic, keen to learn and an active team member• Polite and professional, with a positive attitude at all times• An excellent communicator who ..... full job details .....
