The successful candidate will help ensure meals are prepared and served to a high standard, while maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day catering operation within the facility. Support with menu planning, recipe scheduling and stock management. Liaise with the Cost Controller regarding stock ordering and replenishment, ensuring budgets and usage requirements are met. Prepare and cook meals, including batch cooking where appropriate, ensuring food is fresh and served at the correct times and temperatures. Ensure sufficient hot and cold food is available during meal service. Provide guidance, support and direction to Catering Assistants. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene throughout the kitchen, dining area and surrounding areas. Complete cleaning schedules and daily checks as required.
