The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and catering environment, supporting the chefs and wider catering team to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Key Responsibilities Work in the pot wash area, cleaning crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and associated catering areas. Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning duties in line with established schedules. Collect and organise kitchen laundry, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Assist with receiving deliveries and storing goods in the correct locations when required. Work closely with chefs, front-of-house staff, the stores team and fellow kitchen porters. Follow all food hygiene, health and safety procedures and College policies.
