We are currently seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and hard-working Kitchen Porterandnbsp;to support our clientandrsquo;s busy restaurant in the Salcombe area. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation to keep service running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Keep all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas clean and hygienic
Operate dishwashers, manage pot washing, and carry out general cleaning duties
Assist chefs with basic food preparation when required
Ensure all food hygiene and health andamp; safety standards are followed
Help with deliveries, stock rotation, and keeping storage areas tidy
Provide reliable support to the kitchen team during busy service times
Essential Requirements:
Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a busy kitchen environment is desirable
Strong understanding of hygiene and safety practices
Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and willing to take on varied duties
Positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
