Kitchen Porter Location: Cambridge, CB2 8Hours: 10:00am 6:00pmAgency / Temporary WorkWeekly PayInteraction Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Porter to support a well-established school in Cambridge.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy kitchen environment and is looking for daytime hours within a professional catering setting. The Role As a Kitchen Porter, you will support the wider kitchen team and help ensure the kitchen is kept clean, organised and running efficiently.Duties will include: Washing pots, pans, plates, cutlery and kitchen equipment Managing pot wash and plate wash areas Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and tidy Cleaning floors, work surfaces and equipment Emptying bins and maintaining waste areas Assisting with basic kitchen duties where required Supporting chefs and catering staff during busy service periods Maintaining high standards of hygiene at all times Following food safety and health and safety procedures What We''re Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Hardworking and comfortable in a busy environment Able to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable carrying out physical and repetitive tasks Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness Available to work 10:00am 6:00pm Previous Kitchen Porter or hospitality experience would be beneficial, although a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are equally important.
