We''re recruiting reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porters to join our contract catering team in Central London. This is a Monday to Friday position, offering mainly daytime hours.
Pay: From andpound;12.71 per hour - andpound;14.80 + Holiday Pay (rate may vary depending on client and experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Support chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Follow waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Help keep the kitchen safe, organised, and well-stocked.
- Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year''s Kitchen Porter experience in the UK (essential).
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate preferred.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safe food handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Must be available to work all 5 days, Monday to Friday.
