As a Kitchen Porter, Your Duties May Include
- Supporting Chefs, Catering Managers and kitchen teams
- Washing up and ensuring all kitchen equipment and utensils are clean
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and catering areas
- Assisting with deliveries, stock rotation and storing food and supplies
- Supporting with basic food preparation and general kitchen duties
- Setting up and clearing down kitchen and service areas
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant or Catering Assistant
- Experience within schools, care homes, events or contract catering is advantageous
- Food Safety and Allergen qualifications, or willingness to complete
- Enhanced DBS with child barring, or willingness to obtain, for school-based roles
- Strong communication, organisational and teamwork skills
- A reliable, professional and hardworking approach to work
