to join our friendly team.The RoleAs

Kitchen Manager

, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our busy kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of food production. Youll lead and motivate a small team, support stock management, maintain hygiene and safety standards, and deputise for the Café Manager on days off.This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone passionate about good food and great people, with a background in hospitality or catering and strong kitchen management experience.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise kitchen staff to ensure quality and efficiency.Plan rotas and staffing levels to meet demand.Assist with cooking and food prep as needed.Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, health and safety regulations.Control stock control, minimise waste, oversee rotation and assist with ordering.Develop menus using fresh, seasonal ingredients.Collaborate with the Café Manager on menu planning and costings.Support team wellbeing and contribute to a positive, inclusive environment.Identify and accommodate dietary requirements and special requests.

What Were Looking ForMinimum 2 years experience in a similar kitchen management role.Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3.Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards.Excellent organisational and leadership skills.Ability to work independently and under pressure.A proactive, can-do attitude and a passion for quality food and service.Working Hours08:30
