Lead a High-Volume Kitchen That Never Stands Still
We''re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead one of the busiest, highest-performing kitchens in the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing people, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality food at volume.
This isn''t a role for someone who wants to spend their day in the office. We''re looking for a leader who is on the pass during service, coaching on sections, setting the pace and supporting the team every step of the way.
You''ll inherit a strong, experienced team and work alongside an established second-in-command who manages much of the back-of-house administration, allowing you to focus on leading from the front and driving service excellence.
Kitchen-Manager The Role:
You''ll be responsible for leading a large kitchen operation, ensuring every service is delivered with speed, consistency and quality. You''ll inspire and develop your team while maintaining exceptional operational standards and creating an environment where everyone works together to achieve the same goal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a large kitchen team
- Being visible during service, coaching and supporting the team in real time
- Driving consistency, food quality and speed of service
- Managing labour, productivity and kitchen performance
- Creating a positive, collaborative culture between kitchen and front of house
- Monitoring standards, compliance and food safety
- Supporting recruitment, training and succession planning
- Identifying opportunities to improve performance and guest satisfaction
Kitchen-Manager About You:
You''ll already be operating as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef within a high-volume branded hospitality environment.
You''ll be someone who:
- Leads by example and isn''t afraid to roll up your sleeves
- Stays calm under pressure and performs well during busy services
- Has experience managing large teams and developing people
- Enjoys coaching, mentoring and helping others succeed
- Understands the importance of consistency over complexity
- Has excellent organisational and communication skills
- Has strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance
- Experience managing labour costs, budgets and KPIs is desirable
- Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification would be an advantage
Kitchen-Manager What''s On Offer:
- Competitive salary
- Up to 10% annual bonus
- Excellent career development opportunities
- Ongoing training and funded qualifications
- A supportive leadership team and well-established operation
- Staff discounts across food, retail and leisure
- Access to a wide range of employee benefits and wellbeing support
- Accommodation available
If you''re an energetic kitchen leader who enjoys developing teams, thrives in high-volume operations and believes the best leaders are the ones working alongside their team, we''d love to hear from you.
