Kitchen Manager - School CateringLocation: HullContract: Fixed Term until November 2027Hours: 36.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7am-3pmSalary: 16.16 per hour (PAYE)Term Time Only: 39 weeks per year + 5.6 weeks paid holidayOur client is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee a busy school catering operation in Hull.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong catering and team management experience looking for a stable, term-time position with sociable Monday to Friday hours.The RoleYou''ll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring a high-quality catering service is delivered while managing and motivating the team.Responsibilities will include:Managing and supporting the catering teamEnsuring menus, recipes and presentation standards are followedMaintaining excellent food quality and customer serviceLiaising with clients and gathering feedbackManaging stock and approved suppliersTraining, inducting and developing team membersEnsuring food hygiene, Health and Safety and safeguarding procedures are followedRequirementsPrevious catering management or team leader experienceFood industry experience and/or relevant qualificationsStrong knowledge of catering service deliveryExcellent communication and organisational skillsGood IT skillsUnderstanding of safeguarding requirementsRelevant Health and Safety qualification, ideally IOSHCashless catering system experience desirableAn Enhanced DBS including a Child Barred List check will ..... full job details .....
