Kitchen assistant - School hours - Liverpool

We are recruiting a small team of catering staff who can support us in local Schools in and around Liverpool. This role will start in SEPTEMBER ready for schools going back for term. You will be working school hours between 10am - 2pm Monday to Friday. The role covers Primary and secondary schools.

Do you have 6 months catering experience?

Hold a Childs DBS in past year?

Can commit to minimum of 3 days a week and max 5 per week?

Have a food Hygiene cert?

This role will require you to work Monday to Friday inclusive between 01am - 2.30pm. We need a minimum of 3 days cover to 5 days

As an experienced kitchen assistant, you will be familiar with a fast-paced catering environment, already be hands on, supporting the chef, food prepping, making sandwiches and salad preparation. You will also be efficient at the kitchen role and have a good understanding of how kitchens are managed, operated and cleaned down for each service. You will be working in a retirement village with mature clients.

Is this you?

- Hold a level 2 food safety or willing to purchase and undergo training

- At least 6 months experience in a kitchen

- Understand how to support the chef on site and be quick at food prep and cleaning

The role is based in and around Liverpool. The hours and days are fixed weekly. The role is ongoing.

Pay -12.71 - -13.00

Days Monday - Friday

Hours 10am - 2.30pm

Contract - Ongoing
