Role Title: Kitchen Assistant (Temporary)Location: Gwynedd, North WalesContract Type: TemporaryHourly Rate: £13.45 per hourStart Date: ImmediateMinimum Assignment Length:6 weeksReporting To: Catering / Kitchen SupervisorRole PurposeTo support the catering operation at an Education Centre by assisting with food preparation, maintaining high standards of kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen operations during a busy summer period.Working Pattern4-6 days per week (rota dependent)Shift options:Morning: 6:00am - 12:00pmAfternoon/Evening: 2:00pm - 7:30pmOccasional weekend working requiredShifts will be rota-based and may vary depending on operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting the preparation of packed lunches for outdoor activity groupsAssisting with basic food preparation as requiredPot washing and general cleaning dutiesMaintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with food safety regulationsSupporting the wider catering team with general kitchen dutiesAdhering to health and safety and safeguarding procedures at all timesSkills and ExperienceEssential:Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach to workAbility to work effectively as part of a teamWillingness to carry out hands-on kitchen and cleaning dutiesDesirable:Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environmentBasic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practicesCompliance and SafeguardingDBS Check: Preferred but not essentialSatisfactory references ..... full job details .....
