Kitchen Assistant

Job Title: Kitchen Assistant Hours: Minimum 25 hours per week Working Days: Thursday to Monday (flexibility required) Job Summary: Orchard Professional Solutions are working with a local cafe who are looking for a kitchen assistant to join their team. The role is varied and you will be required to adapt to business needs when required. As a kitchen assistant, you will assist with the preparation of fresh products / service and work alongside the head chef. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of ingredients and basic cooking tasks as directed by the head chef Support the service period, preparing meals as required Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times Perform daily and deep cleaning of work areas, equipment, and utensils Follow food safety procedures and adhere to health and safety policies Work flexibly, adapting to changing shift patterns as required by business needs Requirements: Previous experience in a kitchen environment required Good understanding of food hygiene standards Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure during busy periods Flexible with work hours; current days required Thursday - Monday Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn Benefits: Minimum 25 hours per week with the opportunity for additional hours Be part of a friendly and supportive team ..... full job details .....
