This part-time, term-time role is ideal for someone with catering, school kitchen, care home, canteen or food-service experience who takes pride in excellent hygiene, safe food preparation and friendly customer service. What You'll Do Prepare vegetables, snacks, and other simple food items according to menus and instructions. Serve meals in suitable portions and help ensure food is presented to a high standard. Wash pans, utensils, crockery and cutlery. Clean kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas according to cleaning schedules. Set up and take down tables and chairs for daily meal service. Support dining-room duties and provide a helpful service to customers. Report equipment faults and assist with stock ordering when required. What We're Looking For Previous experience in catering, hospitality, a commercial kitchen or food service. Knowledge of food hygiene, safe food storage and stock rotation.
