Kitchen Assistant

MPA Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Band 2 Kitchen Assistant to work within a welcoming day centre in the heart of Ballycastle for the Northern Health and Social Care Trust (NHSCT). This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part-time weekday hours with no evening or weekend work. Position Details Job Title: Kitchen Assistant (Band 2) Location: Ballycastle Hours: 9:30am - 2:00pm, Monday to Friday Contract: Temporary (long term) Pay: Band 2 NHS rates of pay Key Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and serving of meals. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas. Wash dishes and kitchen equipment. Follow food hygiene and health and safety procedures. Support the catering team to ensure a smooth daily service. What We''re Looking For Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service environment is desirable but not essential. A reliable and hardworking attitude. Good communication and teamwork skills. An understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
