This role will be paying between 12.21 per hour. This position will start on Monday 18th November so you must be able to start on this date. As the Kitchen Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of basic food and housekeeping services. Your role will contribute to creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for students, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities: Assisting with basic food preparation and serving meals for students and staff in accordance with established menus and dietary requirements. Setting up the school hall for lunch times, including tables, chairs, and serving stations, and ensure they are kept clean and organized during mealtimes. Support kitchen staff in food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and assembling food trays. Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining areas, by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitising floors on a regular basis.
