About the Role
Manpower UK is seeking a reliable Kitchen Assistant for a school-based role in Kingston Upon Hull (HU9). This part-time position runs until the Summer Term, with potential extension. Working Monday to Friday, 8:15am to 2:15pm, the post pays up to £13.50 per hour. Duties involve meal preparation and service, maintaining kitchen hygiene, washing up, and supporting the catering team during busy periods while adhering to food safety regulations. Previous catering experience is desirable but not essential; candidates must possess efficient teamwork, time management, and organisational abilities. A positive attitude and valid Enhanced DBS check are required.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
- Washing up and clearing kitchen areas
- Supporting the catering team during busy service periods
- Following food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Previous kitchen or catering experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS certificate
