They are looking for a reliable and caring Kitchen Assistant to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in maintaining high standards of food service, cleanliness and resident care.The Role As a Kitchen Assistant, you will support the kitchen and care home team with the day-to-day provision of meals and refreshments for residents.Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with the preparation and presentation of meals and refreshmentsSupporting the kitchen team during breakfast, lunch and evening meal servicesPreparing dining areas and ensuring residents receive meals in a timely mannerWashing and cleaning crockery, utensils and kitchen equipmentMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areasFollowing food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all timesAssisting with stock rotation and putting away deliveries where requiredHelping to keep the kitchen organised and running efficientlyProviding a friendly and respectful service to residentsWorking closely with care and kitchen colleagues to meet residents'' individual needs About You We are looking for ..... full job details .....
