We are recruiting for a full time Kitchen Assistant to assist in the preparation, service and distribution of meals to patients, staff and visitors based at the Hospital under the supervision of the Head Chef ensuring all catering areas are maintained in a hygienic, clean and safe manner. In this role you''ll: Assist in the preparation of balanced, appetising meals Perform cooking tasks and other kitchen dutiesEnsure the cleanliness of the kitchen, service areas and dining roomWash utensils, dishes and make sure they are stored appropriatelyRotate stock and put away all deliveriesMaintain personal hygiene to comply with Cygnet standards and food hygiene regulationsHandle, maintain and store kitchen equipment in accordance with Cygnet procedures Use chemicals in line with Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) regulations We''re looking for people who have: Previous catering experience Food and Hygiene qualification desirable though training will be givenPractical ability of preparing simple meals.Must be fluent in the English Language both written and verbalExcellent customer ..... full job details .....
