Kitchen Assistant £12.84 per hour Manchester City Centre Part Time Working Days/Hours to be confirmed Job Description: We are seeking reliable Kitchen Assistants for an immediate start. Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but a willingness to learn and work well within a team is essential. Key Responsibilities:Assist kitchen staff with daily food preparation tasks as directedClean and sanitize all kitchen surfaces and equipment to maintain hygiene standardsWash and dry plates, cutlery, glasses, and other utensils efficientlyHelp with unpacking and storing deliveries, ensuring food storage areas are organised and compliant with safety standardsSupport the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the kitchen and dining areasAlways follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentDispose of waste and recycling correctly, keeping the kitchen tidy and clutter-freeAssist with basic food preparation such as peeling, chopping, and assembling ingredients as requiredReport any equipment faults or maintenance needs to the supervisor promptlyWork cooperatively with colleagues to ensure smooth kitchen operations If this sounds like the perfect role for you then please submit your CV.
