Kinetic Energy Management Engineer

Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for Kinetic Energy Management Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.The Opportunity:This is an exciting opportunity to optimise vehicle efficiency by the application of engineering principals. Our team is responsible for the managing the kinetic efficiency of our vehicles. We re looking for someone who enjoys drawing conclusions based on simulation, analysis and test data.Key Performance Indicators: Applicants should be self-starting and motivated to deliver class leading vehicle efficiency.Strong technical background, with proven experience in engineering optimisation and data analysis.Experienced in all aspects of road load analysis for efficiency calculations Experience with engineering simulation tools and drawing conclusions from simulation results.Experience of systems engineering / integration from target setting and decomposition through to component and system performance validation. Ensure the interests of the kinetic energy attribute are represented in cross departmental meetings.Confident at presenting to all levels within the company Support the KEM Team s customers with road load predictions and simulations.Responsible for overseeing physical road load coast down tests.Any other reasonable tasks requested by the Kinetic Energy Management Chapter Lead.
