The team provide bespoke harm reduction advice, 1-1 listening ear support, BBV screening and Naloxone (with basic training on how to administer) and respond to opiate overdose in the city centre area. Information about safer injecting practices is a key function of this role with the aim of reducing risks associated with IV/ polysubstance use. The service operating hours are 9am-9pm Mon-Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday. Successful postholders will be included in the project rota.
