      <description>Location: Exeter | Salary: &amp;pound;168 - &amp;pound;232/day | Type: Contract | Special Needs Teacher  Start date Immediate  Are you looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you a dedicated and supportive teacher? Do you have a good understanding of the national curriculum?  A SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities teacher is required for long term supply cover in a SEND school just outside of Exeter from September, supporting children in Key Stage 3 and KS4 primarily in cross curricular primary model lessons, so all curriculum knowledge would be required.  The role will be delivering an engaging curriculum at a mix of KS2 and KS3 level and requires a versatile SEND Teacher / Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Teacher who is creative and caring in their approach. The school has a team of dedicated teaching assistants who provide fantastic support to the children. The students all have an EHCP for Autistic Spectrum Disorders, MLD, ADHD and SEMH / behavioural needs, so you will need to be patient, resilient, compassionate and caring.
