Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant and Behaviour MentorHaringey, North London £110 - £125 per day ASAP or September Start Full-Time Long-TermLong Term Futures are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant and Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Haringey.This is a varied role combining classroom support with targeted behavioural interventions for pupils who require additional guidance to succeed both academically and socially. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support learning, improve engagement, and help pupils develop positive behaviours and emotional regulation skills.Key responsibilities include:Supporting teaching and learning across Key Stage 2 classroomsDelivering targeted interventions for pupils requiring additional supportWorking 1:1 and in small groups with children displaying behavioural or emotional needsBuilding positive relationships with pupils and acting as a consistent role modelSupporting pupils with emotional regulation, confidence, and social developmentEncouraging engagement and participation within lessonsCollaborating with teachers, SEN staff, and parents where requiredThe ideal candidate will have previous experience working with primary-aged children and be confident supporting pupils with behavioural, SEMH, or additional learning needs.
