Primary Teacher (KS1) Location: Beeston, NottinghamshireStart Date: ASAP / September Start AvailableContract: Long-term (Full-time)Salary: £150 - £220 per day (dependent on experience)About the Role A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Beeston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to a Year 1 or Year 2 class, supporting pupils in developing strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 National CurriculumUse effective phonics strategies to support early reading developmentDifferentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEN and EALAssess, monitor, and track pupil progressMaintain a positive and inclusive classroom environmentWork collaboratively with teaching assistants and staffCommunicate effectively with parents and carersThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveQualified Teacher Status (QTS)Experience teaching within KS1 (EYFS experience also desirable)Strong understanding of phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc, Letters and Sounds)Excellent classroom and behaviour management skillsA nurturing and patient approach to teachingA commitment to safeguarding and child welfareWhat the School OffersA supportive and friendly staff teamWell-behaved and ..... full job details .....
