Are you a versatile tradesperson looking for long-term stability on one of the North''s most significant construction projects? We are seeking a key operative / handyman to join a massive military infrastructure project in the Catterick area.The Role:This is a pivotal role on a high-security defence site. As a key operative, you will be the "go-to" person for the site management team, handling everything from semi-skilled trade support to high-level finishing and site maintenance.Multi-Trade Support: Carrying out basic carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks.Site Setup: Assisting with hoarding, temporary partitions, and welfare facilities.Snagging and Finishing: Identifying and rectifying minor defects to MoD standards.Specialist Assistance: Providing skilled support to MandE teams during various build phases.General Maintenance: Ensuring the site remains operational and safe throughout the project.Mandatory Security Requirement:Due to the nature of the project being on Ministry of Defence (MoD) land, all successful candidates must undergo a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check.To be eligible, you must:Have a valid Passport or full Birth Certificate.Provide a continuous 3-year employment/education history.Undergo a Basic Disclosure (DBS) check.Have the right to work in the UK.What You''ll Need:Valid CSCS Card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred).Proven multi-skilled background (knowledge of basic trades is essential).Full PPE and your own basic tool kit for ..... full job details .....
