Key Account Manager Steel Wire Rope Hemel Hempstead, HP2 based on-site, not field-based Our client is an £8 million successful UK business with a team of 45 employees working across four divisions. Their high performing Wire Rope Division is expanding and are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager Sales Manager to take ownership of strategic customer accounts to ensure retention, growth and long term profitability. Success in this role means taking a proactive approach to account management, increasing spend and uncovering new opportunities within existing accounts. Key Responsibilities • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic Key Accounts within the Wire Rope Division • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, buyers, engineers, and operational stakeholders • Increase customer spend, share of wallet, and profitability across assigned accounts • Develop and maintain structured Key Account Plans for all strategic customers • Conduct regular customer visits, account reviews, and business review meetings • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling products and services • Work closely with Internal Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Leadership teams to support customer requirements • Support inbound customer enquiries and quotations during periods of high demand • Monitor customer performance, trends, risks, and opportunities using CRM and reporting tools • Manage and continuously review the divisional Key Account portfolio • Identify emerging ..... full job details .....
