Key Account Manager

Role overview: The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing our clients existing client portfolio, with a particular focus on fire alarm systems and fire protection services within the data centre sector. The role will be approximately 75% focused on existing key accounts and 25% focused on new business development, with the aim of strengthening client relationships, increasing revenue across existing accounts and identifying new commercial opportunities within data centres. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background within fire alarm installation, gained through quoting and surveying on data centre projects, combined with commercial experience in quoting, surveying and developing fire alarm installation opportunities. Roles and responsibilities: Manage and develop a portfolio of key existing accounts, with approximately 75% of the role focused on account management and 25% on new business development. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, particularly within the data centre and critical infrastructure sectors. Develop a detailed understanding of client requirements, operational needs and fire protection systems to identify opportunities for additional works and services. Conduct site surveys for fire alarm installation, upgrades and remedial works, ensuring requirements are accurately captured.
