Kent - Social Worker - UASC team East Kent

Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Qualified Social Worker to join the UASC Team for a Local Authority in East Kent.Your daily responsibilities will include:Holding a caseload of Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children (UASC) Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children and young people Developing and implementing effective Care Plans Undertaking statutory visits and reviews Assessing safeguarding concerns and managing risks appropriately Supporting children and young people through the asylum and care process Working closely with foster carers, families and accommodation providers Liaising and working closely with partner agencies, including education, health, police and immigration services Promoting the welfare, safety and positive outcomes of children and young people Preparing reports and attending relevant meetings and reviews Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records Supporting pathway planning and preparing young people for independence Ensuring all statutory duties and relevant legislation are followedPay Rate: 38 per hour Umbrella Location: East KentEssential Requirements:Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent At least 3 years'' experience as a social worker within children''s services Experience working with UASC / Looked After Children would be highly desirable Social Work England Registration Driving license and access to own vehicleBenefits of working with Eden Brown Synergy include:DBS check processed ..... full job details .....
