Contract Role - KDB Specialist/KDB+/q Developer - London - 12 Months Initial - Inside IR35We are looking for a skilled KDB Specialist/KDB+/q Developer to work with the eFX strat/engineering teams to build out our analytics framework in KDB+/q and enhance the overall resiliency of our KDB+ estate. Build out reporting dashboards for key stakeholders based on data within KDB.Responsibilities

Develop and maintain KDB+/q solutions to support analytics in a financial services environment.Build out the analytics framework in KDB+/q and enhance resiliency of the KDB+ estate.Build reporting dashboards and visualization tools for key stakeholders based on data within KDB.Collaborate with eFX strat/engineering teams, traders, and operations to deliver reliable data platforms.Qualifications

Strong hands-on experience with KDB+/q development in financial services (preferably Front Office trading environments).Solid understanding of market data, eFX, or time-series data.Experience building dashboards, reporting tools, or data visualisations.Knowledge of distributed systems, resiliency, and performance optimisation.Proficiency in at least one other programming language (eg, Python, Java, C++) is desirable.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams (strats, traders, engineers, operations).Please note: Due to the volume of applications received for positions, it will not be possible to respond to all applications and only applicants who are considered suitable for interview will be ..... full job details .....
