Junior / Newly Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer Uckfield c42-45,000 per annum (salary is dependant on skills and qualifications)Benefits including: 24days holiday + BH, Xmas Close, Parking, Healthcash . Salary will be reviewed after probation.Office Hours - Onsite 9-5/5.30pmWe are seeking a motivated Junior Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer to join our busy civil litigation client. You will work under the guidance of a senior solicitor, alongside three fee earners, and be supported by four case handlers. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your litigation skills in a collaborative and supportive environment while working on a wide range of contentious and defended landlord and tenant matters.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake fee-earning work with supervision, contributing to departmental cases.Build technical expertise in managing defended and complex cases, particularly fast track and multi-track claims.Draft legal documents, ensuring compliance with court directions and orders.Progress towards independently managing smaller matters while assisting on larger cases.Liaise with clients, defendants, courts, solicitors, and managing agents.Keep clients informed on case progress.Issue possession claims via Possession Claims Online.Prepare paper applications for court (manual possession, accelerated, and warrant applications).Draft notices seeking possession.Prepare instructions for advocates and counsel.Maintain and update case management spreadsheets.Skills and ExperienceGood ..... full job details .....
