Junior Vehicle Build Technician£26,000 £28,000 OvertimePermanent 40 HoursMonday Friday WarwickshireJUNIOR VEHICLE BUILD TECHNICIANWant to build and restore classic vehicles rather than work on the same cars every day?A growing specialist automotive business is looking for a Junior Vehicle Build Technician to join its workshop team.You ll work on bespoke classic 4x4 vehicles, taking them from donor condition through to finished build.THE ROLEAs a Junior Vehicle Build Technician, you ll work alongside experienced technicians and develop your practical mechanical skills.You ll be involved in:Stripping donor vehiclesCleaning and assessing componentsChassis, suspension and drivetrain buildsBodywork assemblyFitting wiring looms, trim and lightingFitting mechanical and galvanised componentsKeeping build records updatedMaintaining a clean, organised workshopOccasional driving to suppliers and other facilitiesWHAT WE RE LOOKING FORThe ideal Junior Vehicle Build Technician will be:Practical and mechanically mindedGenuinely interested in vehiclesKeen to learn and developReliable and hardworkingMethodical with good attention to detailProud of their workmanshipA good team playerPrevious experience with classic vehicles is not essential.Practical experience from work, college, an apprenticeship or personal projects is all relevant.Welding/fabrication experience or an automotive qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.Full UK driving licence required.WHAT S ON OFFER£26,000 ..... full job details .....
