Job Title: Junior Town Planner Location: WinchesterPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established and growing planning consultancy in the appointment of a Junior Town Planner to join their Winchester team.This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planning professional looking to build their career within a respected consultancy. You will gain exposure to a varied portfolio of planning and development projects, working alongside experienced planners and supporting clients throughout the planning process.The RoleAs a Junior Town Planner, you will:Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications.Undertake planning research, site appraisals and policy reviews.Support senior planners across a range of development projects.Assist with the preparation of planning statements, reports and supporting documents.Liaise with local planning authorities, consultants and other stakeholders.Monitor planning policies and emerging development plans.Assist with planning appeals and other development management matters.Support the delivery of projects from initial instruction through to completion.Develop your knowledge and experience across a diverse range of planning projects.About YouWe are looking for someone who is:Degree qualified in Town Planning or a related subject.Ideally working towards MRTPI or keen to progress towards chartership.Able to demonstrate some relevant planning experience within consultancy, local government or a related ..... full job details .....
