Junior Technical Manager About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Technical Manager to join a leading fresh produce business. This role offers excellent exposure to a major retail customer base and is ideal for someone looking to develop their career within fresh produce and retail technical management. You''ll support the delivery of retailer technical and ethical requirements across a diverse supplier base, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure food safety, legality, quality, and integrity standards are consistently met. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the management of customer technical requirements for retail accountsAssist with supplier approval, monitoring, and ongoing complianceSupport risk assessments, specifications, and technical documentationHelp manage non-conformances, complaints, and corrective actionsParticipate in supplier visits and audits where requiredSupport ethical trade and sustainability initiatives in line with customer expectationsWork collaboratively with commercial, technical, and operations teamsAbout YouExperience within technical, QA, or compliance in fresh produce or food manufacturingGood understanding of food safety, HACCP, and retailer standardsConfident communicator with suppliers and internal stakeholdersOrganised, detail-focused, and keen to develop technicallyWilling to travel occasionally, including regular visits to SpaldingWhat they offerA supportive team environment with strong ..... full job details .....
