Junior Technical Engineer Location: Enfield, North LondonSalary: £26,000 - £28,000Start Date: To be discussedI am currently representing a well-established and highly regarded manufacturer within the architectural lighting industry, who is looking to recruit a Junior Technical Engineer to join their growing technical team.This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their technical career who is looking to develop their skills within a specialist and innovative lighting environment. Full training will be provided, offering the opportunity to learn the business from the ground up and develop valuable technical knowledge and experience.The successful candidate will support the technical and design teams across a range of activities, gaining exposure to product testing, technical documentation, drawings and industry standards.The Role Responsibilities will include: Supporting the technical team with day-to-day activities and projectsMaintaining laboratory procedures and processesTracking and managing product testing requests and samplesAssisting with photometric, thermal and other product testingSupporting the process of ensuring products meet relevant technical standards and requirementsLiaising with internal departments and communicating technical information clearlyCreating and amending product specification sheets and installation guidesUsing Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and IllustratorReformatting and updating technical drawings ..... full job details .....
