We are working with an established technology organisation seeking a Junior Systems and Build Engineer to join its engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems and wants to develop specialist skills across Linux, infrastructure, software builds and deployment within a technically challenging Defence technology environment. You''ll work closely with engineering teams supporting the systems, infrastructure and tooling required to develop, build and deliver software products. Your responsibilities will include Supporting the build, deployment and delivery of software products. Administering and maintaining Linux-based development and build infrastructure. Supporting configuration and version-control systems. Maintaining build machines, development environments and associated infrastructure. Responding to infrastructure and engineering support requests. Investigating technical issues and providing effective diagnostic support.
