Junior Systems Administrator

Job purpose: This role is primarily responsible for providing day-to-day business-as-usual support for Becrypt, managing and supporting the technology stack end to end. Working as part of a two-person System Administration team, the role involves administering, maintaining and supporting a wide range of technologies. Principal duties and (joint) responsibilities: General Internal technical support for Becrypt Including Onsite support on allocated day(s) IT Service Management Tool ticket management Incident Management, Change Management and Request Fulfilment Workload management Support of new technology projects Any other reasonable duties as required by the business. User Support and Account Management Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts. Assist with password resets, permission changes, and group memberships. Provide first- and second-line support for hardware, software, and access issues. Maintain accurate records in IT ticketing systems. Endpoint Management Build, configure, and deploy laptops and mobile devices according to company standards. Apply OS updates, security patches, and standard software packages. Monitor endpoint security (e.g., antivirus, disk encryption, device compliance). Systems Monitoring and Maintenance Monitor system health, backups, and network performance.
