Junior Structural Engineer

Location: HampshireSalary: Up to £35KAbout the RoleAn established civil and structural engineering consultancy is seeking a Junior Civil / Structural Engineer to join its team. The role will involve working across a diverse range of projects within both the domestic and commercial sectors, including new developments, specialist structural systems, residential extensions, and structural surveys.Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be involved in structural projects from initial concept through to completion. Typical responsibilities may include:Involvement in projects of varying scale from conception to completionAssessing and understanding project requirementsUndertaking design work across multiple disciplinesAgreeing timescales and specifications with clients and internal stakeholdersPreparing technical documents, calculations, and reportsWorking towards professional accreditation and maintaining CPDCandidate SpecificationThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:Clear and effective verbal and written communication skillsConfidence when liaising with clients, contractors, and colleaguesExperience using industry software such as AutoCAD, MasterSeries, TEDDS, or similarCompetency with Microsoft Office for producing project documentationA commitment to professional excellence and continuous personal developmentA Master''s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng may be considered)The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small teamWhat''s in ..... full job details .....
