What you''ll be doing

As Junior Sous Chef, you''ll support the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen:

• Assist with menu planning and seasonal dish development
• Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Lead the kitchen in the Head Chef''s absence
• Train and support junior team members
• Help manage stock control and minimise waste
• Ensure food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are maintained

What we''re looking for

• Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef, Sous Chef, or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced food
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Positive attitude and team-focused approach
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance
• Level 2 Food Safety qualification preferred
