We are seeking a passionate and talented Junior Sous Chef to join the dynamic culinary team at a prestigious independent school in Buckingham. This is a rare opportunity to work in a multi-outlet kitchen that delivers a diverse and exciting food offering
from high-end fine dining to rustic hog roasts, BBQs, and fresh, seasonal menus for pupils and events.Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day kitchen operations across multiple food outlets
Deliver outstanding food for school dining, events, hospitality, and themed functions
Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring high standards are maintained
Assist with menu development, food prep, and service across varied styles (fine dining, BBQs, hog roasts, etc.)
Maintain excellent hygiene, health, and safety standards in accordance with school policies
Contribute to a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement
About You:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef in a high-volume or multi-outlet kitchen
Confident across a range of cooking styles

Enthusiastic, organised, and calm under pressure
Passion for fresh, seasonal food and a genuine interest in developing your career
Strong team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
Level 2 Food Hygiene (minimum); Level 3 desirable
