Role: Junior Software EngineerLocation: Christchurch - On-siteSalary: 38,000 - 42,500 Junior Software Engineer needed in Christchurch to join our client, an established defence and security firm working on cutting edge systems within the UK defence industry. You will join an existing 45-strong team that provides support to a fully integrated command and control system for the MoD. This exciting systems and software programme covers many disciplines including design, development, installation, implementation, integration, acceptance, training and logistics support - it is run solely from our Christchurch site for delivery to our customer at various MoD locations. What the role of the Junior Software Engineer entails:Some of the main duties of the Junior Software Engineer will include:Design, code and test of bespoke complex software productsFault finding and resolution of issues in a production environment to a successful conclusionAdherence to software engineering practicesProducing clear and concise technical documentationCollaboration with other members of the team: sharing knowledge and peer reviewing others'' workReporting on progress and providing feedback to team members and leadershipOccasional visits to customer sites to support deployment and testing What experience you need to be the successful Junior Software Engineer:Proficient in C# and Visual Studio and Windows Forms and .Net FrameworkContinuous Integration/Continuous DeploymentUnderstanding of the Software ..... full job details .....
