My client is looking for an Electrical or Mechanical Shift Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Kings Cross, London. A successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically biased (CandG / NVQ). Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical, and mechanical maintenance. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £32,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of work
Continental Shift - 4 nights, 4off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6off, 4 days - 07:00am - 19:00pm / 19:00am - 07:00am
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)- Emergency lighting tests and Fire alarm tests- Plant room maintenance- Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)- Control Panels- Changing Ballast- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot and cold)- Carry out all aspects of MandE/Fabric maintenance- Maintain and update Log books- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets- Pumps, motors
Requirements
- Electrically qualified - City and Guilds Level 3 or mechanically City and Guilds Level 2- Have a hard-working attitude- Willingness to learn- Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance- Good communication skills- Client Facing
